Maryland based YAZU!‘s Simplicity is the sample-chops version of being “well-heeled.” Straying away from the “fly-by-night”fads of today’s sampling game, Simplicity focuses on staying true to the sound of Hip-Hop’s classic boombap. In it’s essence, Simplicity lives up to its name but leaves a sense of nostalgia – the what “if” the entirety of Hip Hop went back in time and unearthed many of these tracks stashed inside Floppy and Zip disks?
